There's a bill called the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act which
will require insurance companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay
for patients undergoing a mastectomy. It's about eliminating the
"drive-through mastectomy" where women are forced to go home hours after surgery against the wishes of their doctor, still groggy from anesthesia and
sometimes with drainage tubes still attached.
Lifetime Television has put this bill on their web page with a petition
drive to show your support. Last year over half the House signed on.

I went and did it and it literally took my maybe 10 seconds.
Ok, and today my grandparents came over. We had dinner and I showed them the house. They liked it, and we just talked and visited. I felt bad because I in essence mentioned that I hated telemarketing and selling things to people if they don't want it. Well, my grandpa is a car sales man. NOT A CRAPPY CHEAPY ONE THOUGH!
I had an orthodontist appointment today. My teeth don't really hurt, but they gave me these rubber bands to wear, gah it's like my mouth is sewed shut with elastic. It sucks.
I also got lost on the freeway, it was sucky and I was white-nuckle driving the whole way.
Anywho, I get paid tomorrow. WOOOOOO! I'm gonna go and get Firefly from Blockbuster and then this weekend we're gonna go to the movies and see Serenity. :D
I also did some mad cleaning today and my room and bathroom are all pretty.
I guess that's it... :D
