This ep was okay, not as great as I would have liked, but there were some decent moments.
Dean-flirtage was awesome, and I loved the whole reality TV thing. So cute.
The paining sort of freaked me out, but that's to be expected.
So funny, Dean eating the mini-queshe's all yokel-like.
Sarah was okay, she's definitly not the type of girl I would have seen with Sam, but I suppose she would be okay. She was very pretty and was actually kind of cool with the demon-hunting and all, but she's still not who I see for Sam.
I loved the motel room, so classically cool. I don't know which one is better, cowboys, hunting lodge, bowling pins, or disco. :P
Omgosh Dean and Sam talking about Jessica was awesome, Dean really played the big brother card in this ep, especially in this scene. Poor Sam for tearing up.
Oh! And clueless!Dean on the DaVinci code, so cute.
The date between Sarah and Sam was okay, Sam/Jared looked so pretty, they had a lot of close-ups of him in that scene and I kept admiring his prettiness.
I loved the scene with Dean losing his wallet but not, very cute and big brotherly. I also thought it was uber funny when Sam freaked out about the painting, haha, very awkward.
The twist with the little girl I so did NOT see coming. And jeez wasn't she the creepiest little freak. I was really digging the whole freaked out phone convo between Dean and Sam, and Dean not being able to get into the house. I still got that whole 'oh-god-Dean!/oh-god-Sam!' vibe. You know where Dean usually comes and rescues Sam and Sam needs Dean to rescue him. Also, I was half-squeeing that I kept noticing Dean call Sam Sammy. It was so adorably awesome. I love how Sam never corrects Dean anymore unless he's annoyed, I mean that wasn't a great example of that, being as Sam was nearly fighting for his life, but you get my drift.
Kudos to Sarah for the doll info.
That scene in the mausoleum was funny, but for some reason I had this weird thought, when Dean couldn't break the glass with the butt of the gun, that the thought of Sam like getting hurt would drive Dean to break it with his mind. Of course I knew this wouldn't happen, but it would have been cool too see something weird like that.
The ending was okay, that kiss wasn't very good at first, the hips were great though. Extra extra extra bonus points for Dean saying 'That's my boy.' So awesome.
Overall, the plot on this ep sorta sucked. So far we've been getting these home run eps of SPN, but this one was just kind of mediocre. I liked the Sam character developments, but other wise it was kind of lacking. I would give this ep a 6 1/4 out of 10.
