Rating:(All are G to PG-13)
Pairing: Xander/Andrew (pre-slash so far)
Disclaimer: I own nothing but part of the plot.
Notes: All of these drabbles are exactly 100 words, minus the titles. Also, some of these first few might not be great, I wrote them a long while back, but I did go back and re-write some stuff (A LOT of stuff), so they shouldn't be nearly as bad as they were. Anywho, thanks for reading, and remember feedback = love.
Xander stared down into what used to be his home. He hadn’t spoken to his parents since before he’d lost his eye and he vaguely wondered if they’d gotten out of town, not that he cared much.
Xander’s chest ached as he tried not to think about everything else that he’d lost. He’d lost more than just possessions, he’d lost places and memories and the girl he loved. Well, Anya had died, but he’d lost her long before her death.
Xander felt indescribably sad and angry, he didn’t know what to do now; there was a crater in his life.
Los Angeles was …different. Xander had been to L.A. once when he was young, but now it was filled with teenaged slayers, evil lawyers, and one pissed off vampire.
Angel had been strangely angry since they’d arrived. When he saw them, his face went from relieved to angry in less than a second. Xander suspected he was
Xander, himself, just felt tired; as though he hadn’t slept in years. He put it off though,
Three days late and stuck in L.A. found Xander racked with guilt and grief. He didn’t eat and rarely slept. A lot of the girls had still been grieving friends, so they had all extended their stay in the city.
One afternoon Andrew came into Xander’s room and sat with him. The room was still and quiet, he’d had spent two days in bed not sleeping. The sun filtered in through the orange curtains and Andrew smiled sadly at him. Andrew’s hand slipped into his and Xander felt relief. The exhaustion left him and he was finally able to cry.
Giles and a few previously-retired watchers were reestablishing the Watcher’s Council in London so some of the Scoobies were all flying out at some point. Most were heading to London, but Willow and Faith were jetting off to places unconquered.
A tearful goodbye with Willow and then Xander was on a plane, nervous as hell. His first flight was anxiously becoming a huge event. Andrew, was beside him, also just as nervous; he babbled incessantly and Xander tuned him out. Xander tried to relax but ten minutes into take-off and he had to cling to Andrew’s hand for dear life.
